An absolute must visit on Texel. The food is so tasty, get a kippeling with some beers, it will be worth it The chicken is crispy and fresh, the fries are properly made with a sprinkle of spices and the salad is flavourful and diverse. Portions are of a good size and not too expensive

The best chicken restaurant in the world. I am still wondering how they made the chicken breast so tasty!!! In other restaurants, breast/chicken meat can be very tasteless, but Pollo is different. Not only that, they also put a lot of effort into the food presentation. All of the foods look so pretty and delicious, and of course, they all are tasty! The owner and the staff are very friendly. We are delighted about everything. If you are in Texel and currently looking for a restaurant to eat, feel free to walking into Pollo. I totally recommend it!

Our last evening of the summer holidays at the island of Texel could be better for the food. This was absolutely lovely. Kip eigenwijs and cauliflower bites were delicious. Service was very friendly and the owner was happy to hear that the pork cheeks were delicious. Thanks for the perfect evening

We enjoyed this restaurant during our trip to Texel and we decided to visit again before heading home. The food is very delicious and freshly made when you order it as we see it getting roasted from our seats. A great value for the price! The service was quick, attentive, and welcoming, even with an infant in our group, which we really appreciated. For food, the Piri Piri Chicken stood out if you enjoy spicy dishes, while my husband particularly liked the ‘Nduja. Both were well-prepared and flavorful. It’s a spot I’d happily recommend and would visit again when in the area. A reliable choice for good food and friendly service.

A must go! Amazing food for a fair price and a great service! We arrived late, but we were welcomed anyway. The chicken was amazing, and the service was warm, funny, and sincere. I would suggest going to anyone. 5+ start because the tiramisù was something else, one of the best we've had in a restaurant.

Had a wonderful experience at Pollo de Koog Restaurant . The food was delicious, service was very good, and the presentation was beautiful. Desserts were absolutely delicious. Will definitely visit again! Owner and staff are very friendly.

Such a relaxed, friendly vibe, quite hard to find. The kind of place where you instantly feel at home. The service is warm and quick, and it’s worth following the recommendations from the owner or chef; they really know their stuff, and you can tell everyone there is loves in what they do. The food is comforting and delicious. I liked it so much I came back a second time just to try more of the menu. Perfect on a chilly day. Also, the music selection is spot on and really ties the atmosphere together. A great spot in De Koog that’s absolutely worth a visit.

We’ve already been here twice in two days , and everything we tried was delicious. Each dish is packed with flavor and clearly made with care. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or a casual night out. The staff are friendly, which makes the experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to!
